·  Introducing the ONLY UK app and device to offer quantitative and qualitative self-test measurement of women's personal Luteinising Hormone (LH) levels, allowing users to identify their 'unique fertility profile' and increase their chances of getting pregnant naturally

·  Data derived from the user, allows myLotus App to graphically track and showcase users monthly Luteinising Hormone (LH) profile and identify most fertile days

Concepta Diagnostics today announces the UK release of its myLotus Fertility app and Monitor system.  The new system allows women to measure their personal fertility hormone levels at home, providing them with a deeper understanding of their cycle, wherever they are in their fertility journey. The myLotus Fertility App allows users to track your fertility on their mobile device.

The clinically-proven¹ myLotus app and device, which tests for both ovulation and pregnancy, accurately measures a woman's LH concentration levels, to help increase their chances of getting pregnant naturally. LH levels increase as a woman's body prepares to ovulate, which is known as the LH 'surge'. For the first time in the UK, myLotus provides women with a quantitative measurement of how much LH is present in their urine and the rate-of-change in this measure, a significant benefit over traditional qualitative ovulation tests.

LH levels vary significantly from woman-to-woman, and the majority of standard tests are unable to pick up these essential indicators in women whose LH levels fall outside the average range. Only 44% of women fall within the average LH profile, and 19% of women have a small LH surge.   Even if a woman's LH levels are above or below the normal range, myLotus can detect this and give users accurate real-time data.

The product development is targeting the advance of personalised home testing with the myLotus first applications for use infertility and pregnancy to help improve the chances of naturally getting pregnant. The product development can be broken into two stages over the next 12 months including, automated Bluetooth link to the app, and as cloud user data increase, Concepta will analyse to better diagnose and understand cycle trends and fertility issues.

The myLotus Monitor can be used independently or alongside a free myLotus app, where women can enter their results, view their LH profile, check their trends and keep a diary of sexual activity to establish their most fertile time for sex. Used together, women have an increased depth of understanding about their cycle to boost their chances of conception.

Fertility expert and reproductive medicine consultant Dr. Larisa Corda says: "Knowing your LH surge is a useful, reliable indicator of impending ovulation. Women, who are not able to identify their fertile days with traditional tests, can now find out more about their fertile phase by measuring their LH concentration levels. Patients can also discuss their results with their doctor to help improve their chances of conception."

Emma Cannon, holistic fertility and women's health expert says: "Every couple's fertility journey is different, but what myLotus can do is help empower women by giving them knowledge about their fertility hormones and how these can change during their monthly cycle. Alongside using myLotus, there are other pro-active things that couples can do to improve their chances of conception, such as preparing your body by eating well, being active, acupuncture and ensuring both parties are in an optimal state of mind."

The myLotus Starter Pack (containing one monitor, 60 ovulation tests and nine pregnancy tests) retails at £349, but for a limited time benefits from an exclusive launch price of £250 from
