MindLink Shortlisted as 'Mobile App of the Year' 2016 UK IT Awards

MindLink™, provider of secure Chat Enabled Collaboration (CEC) tools for global businesses, has been nominated as "Mobile App of the Year" at the UK IT Industry Awards 2016, ran by Computing and the BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. MindLink's enterprise messaging and chat platform competes against high-profile companies such as Accenture, Allianz Insurance and Specsavers, being recognised for innovating and providing enterprise-ready tools for mobile use.

"The UK Technology market is booming with London seeing £12Billion of economic activity. There are many firms coming out of Silicon Valley who get column inches but we equally have an unrivalled pool of talent, cutting-edge innovation and growth businesses in the UK. We are delighted to have made the finalist list at the UK IT awards", says Annekathrin Häse, CMO,MindLink.

Businesses today need to collaborate anywhere, anytime, without worrying about security or usability. 54% of UK office workers work remotely, according to YouGov, seeing an increase in productivity by 30%. WhatsApp™ with its one billion users dominates the consumer chat space but firms are now looking for enterprise-grade alternatives. MindLink is investing in the mobile side of its messaging application and has recently launched its new mobile app version on Mobile and Tablet - available on iOS, Android and BlackBerry.

MindLink's chat tools have become popular amongst a range of clients, notably financial services firms, governments, pharmaceuticals/healthcare and law firms, who all share a common need for secure & compliant messaging tools whilst catering for dispersed teams and a highly mobile workforce.

"It's rewarding to see our enterprise chat application receive such a high level of recognition across the industry. This comes to prove our ongoing focus on delivering mobile messaging solutions that meet the highest standards of data security and compliance - and that even when not in the office.", comments Annekathrin Hase, CMO, MindLink.

The recognition in MindLink's award nomination comes after the firm raised $1m in funding early in the year, has launched its next-generation software platform in July and added MDM support for Good and AirWatch on mobile devices to cater for additional security needs.

The 2016 UK IT Awards focus on the contribution of individuals, projects, organisations and technologies that have excelled in the use, development and deployment of IT in the past 12 months.
